The story
Estix was born in late 2024 when a freelance engineer kept losing proposals because his estimates looked like guesses. Three-point estimation (PERT) had been around since the 1950s, but every tool that implemented it felt like a government form. So he built something better.
The idea was simple: take a mathematically sound estimation method, add AI that can draft a project scope from a brief, and wrap it all in an interface that feels like writing in a good notebook — not fighting software.
